FIELD: computer engineering; input devices. SUBSTANCE: method involves following operations: sequential pushing of alphabetic, numeric, and symbolic keys on keyboard, conversion of signals produced as result of pushing mentioned keys into codes, and input of these codes into memory device made in the form of two isolated memory devices; keyboard is divided into two synchronized isolated parts each connected through its output to input of respective memory device and provided with chronometer turned on before pushing mentioned keys by simultaneous pushing of chronometer start button mounted on respective part of keyboard; when codes are entered in respective memory device, each code is assigned respective complementary code representing time of its input measured by respective chronometer. EFFECT: facilitated operator's work due to eliminating permanent switching between input device and reader. 2 dwg
