FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has reed equipped with gliders separated one from another by spaces, along which warp thread pairs are directed, with one warp thread belonging to stationary warp threads system and other warp thread belonging to rotating warp threads system; reversing needle system having needles provided with eyelets, and at least one guiding member for guiding warp stationary threads system. Guiding member is positioned for reversing in conjunction with needle system. Needle system is coupled to mechanism imparting reversing motions thereto. Frames adjustable in vertical plane are arranged opposite to needle system, parallel with guiding member. First frame is equipped with skew slits for passage of rotating warp threads, second frame is equipped with straight slit intersecting the entire width of warp and adapted for passage of rotating warp threads. Apparatus is further provided with two compensating rollers mounted on third frame. Guiding member is positioned in front of plane extending through needle system. Apparatus of such construction allows continuous passage of stationary warp threads along path free of acute bent portions.
