CLEANER FOR GRAIN COMBINE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: grain heap cleaner has upper and lower screens, tossing board with screen-type extension piece, air-permeable tilt sheet, and fan with working rotors. Fan casing is made in the form of shell and walls joined to shell for defining main and additional branch pipes. Radial partition wall is mounted in fan casing so that its upper end is arranged in the vicinity of leading end of air- permeable tilt board and its lower end is arranged in spaced relation to shell, above it. Perforated valve is positioned at outlet end of main branch pipe. Additional branch pipe is equipped with auxiliary channel having inlet part and air- distributing part. Cleaner of such construction is used for cleaning of grain heap during harvesting of cereal crops, as well as of leguminous, gramineous and vegetable crop seeds. Optimal values of constructional parameters provide for improved separation quality. EFFECT: increased efficiency and economy by reduced grain losses due to improved air distribution in cleaner working zone. 1 dwg
