FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: the method to obtain disinfectant is based upon mixing the following components - hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid. The value for balance constant is chosen to be 2.1 at 20 C to calculate the concentration ratio for mixture components. Then, the process to obtain disinfectant is conducted in two stages. At the first stage, one should pour the mixture of hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid into reservoir at simultaneous mixing. The mixture is kept for 10 h, not less, to obtain the one at peracetic acid content being 5-10%. At the second stage, to increase concentration of peracetic acid the maintained reaction mixture is kept for a day to obtain disinfectant containing the following initial components, mole/l: peracetic acid 0.1-2.5, hydrogen peroxide 5.0- 12.0, acetic acid 1.5-10.5, water - the rest. Moreover, the mixture is additionally supplemented with a stabilizing additive and a catalyzer. EFFECT: increased expiry date and stability of the preparation in question. 1 cl, 2 tbl
