FIELD: cleaning filter elements. SUBSTANCE: method involves following procedures: main line is shut off to bypass clean liquid to hydraulic accumulator, dirty liquid line is opened, and liquid is passed from hydraulic accumulator in countercurrent flow through filter element. Countercurrent flow is created due to pressure of air lock built up in hydraulic accumulator which is in permanent contact with clean liquid surface within hydraulic accumulator. EFFECT: enhanced output of clean liquid and operating reliability of filter. 1 dwg
