LIQUID CLEANING FILTER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: filtering processes; cartridge filters; water supply systems; food-processing and pharmaceutical industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed filter has housing with flow changeover unit rigidly connected with bush provided with longitudinal passage for communication with cavity of flow change-over unit. Longitudinal passage is stepped: larger diameter forms inlet hole and lesser diameter forms outlet hole. Mounted in inlet hole is bush with cavity having contraction coaxially relative to outlet hole widening in form of diffuser. Smaller diameter of cavity has longitudinal extension directed towards outlet hole, thus forming ejector together with it. Flow change-over unit is provided with filter element which is cleaned by reverse flow of liquid and air due to ejection effect every time during opening of outlet hole of housing. EFFECT: increased service life of filter; ease in use; simplified construction. 3 dwg
