FIELD: forestry. SUBSTANCE: edger has sawing mechanism made in the form of left- hand and right-hand sawing units equipped with plates. Saw width adjustment mechanism is formed as centering bearing secured to its plate and provided with right-hand and left-hand screws located inside bearing. Sawing units and saw width adjustment mechanism are mounted on single shaft allowing sawing units and saw width adjustment mechanism to be jointly turned, and sawing units are also allowed to effect straight synchronous motion in opposite directions with respect to centering bearing of saw width adjustment mechanism. EFFECT: simplified construction and increased efficiency. 6 dwg
