FIELD: card and method for payment transfers over telephone or Internet. SUBSTANCE: method involves use of card. Card has identifying number and more than one sections with unique pin-codes each one enabling control of amount of money on client's personal account and unique response codes of system for accruing additional amount to client's account and for charging off some amount. For charging off at least one amount card user establishes communication with mentioned system, records identification number of card, removes coating from pin-code bearing section on card surface, and indicates character combination of pin-code. System compares card identification number and pin-code with data on pin-codes corresponding to particular identification number available in data base and if this pin- code corresponds to identification number of card, it charges off desired amount and marks down remaining amount in data base. Upon stating that mentioned pin-code corresponds to card identification number system conveys to card user the response code which corresponds, according to information contained in data base, to this pin-code. Upon receiving response code card user compares the latter with response code adjacent to pin-code on card; if these response codes are different, user interrupts communication with mentioned system. System charges at least one user-indicated amount off client's account within one payment session or accrues additional amount after coincidence between response code of system and that indicated near pin-code on card is acknowledged and user has indicated number of client's personal account and amount to be charged off. For accruing additional amount to private account card user indicates number of client's private account after coincidence of system response code and response code adjacent to pin-code on card is acknowledged and the sum to be transferred to client's private account, transfers indicated amount to receiving part of system, and quits the system by re-typing pin-code as soon as reception of amount transferred is acknowledged by mentioned system. EFFECT: enhanced solvency of credit card, impossibility of unauthorized charging off by system other than credit structure that has issued the card. 3 cl, 3 dwg
