SUBSTANCE: supplied from surface to one of ends of device body located in well is fluid. Supplied fluid interacts with piston in device body to produce difference of forces and upon attainment of its definite value, body other end is operated. Formation fluid flows through device body, pipe string to surface. Circular gap is formed and packer is installed in it. Preset pressure in formation is maintained.
