FIELD: ore mining industry, particularly, means for mechanized driving of mine workings with roof bolting and driving with the help of continuous miners with broadened range and field of application due to using the drilling attachments. SUBSTANCE: continuous miner has a body on which an actuating member is secured with possibility of motion in vertical and horizontal planes; column whose one end is hinged to the actuating member for motion in vertical plane by means of a turning hydraulic cylinder; cross-piece connected to the column, and drilling machine installed on it for turning round hinge by the turning hydraulic cylinder and having a base, rotator, rod, rod feed mechanism, feed mechanism plate and anchoring mechanism. The column is made in the form of frame, box-shaped in cross-section in its upper part, and forming mounting platform and serving at the same time, as a case of the actuating member. Continuous miner is provided with the second additional drilling machine hinged to additional cross-piece on frame free side. Cross-pieces on each side of frame are made in the form of ears rigidly connected with the frame and located in its front part in place of the frame hinging with the actuating member at a distance from it ensuring free location of drilling machines with their turning round hinges formed by ears of the frame and drilling machines. The rotator is hinged to plate of feed mechanism with possibility of deviation round hinged to any side of drilling machine and fixation of rotator in working position by means of retainer. EFFECT: higher productivity of drilling operation, extended field of application of continuous miner due to reduced dimensions of drilling equipment in height in working position, and simplified design. 8 dwg
