CONTINUOUS MINER Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of mining machinery; applicable in designs of mining machines. SUBSTANCE: continuous miner consists of running gear having frame, tracked carriers installed on guide frames with individual reducing gears and drive; supporting-and-turning column having dismantling supporting column and turning part of actuating member secured in eyes of turning part of supporting-and-turning column by axle; hydraulic cylinders for turning actuating member with some ends connected with turning part of supporting-and-turning column, feeder, conveyer, magnetic station, oil station, oil tank; the other ends of hydraulic cylinders for turning of actuating member are located on supporting column. Frame of running gear is integral with horizontal mounting platform extending on both sides of longitudinal axis of running gear and found in frame rear part. Frame guides are in horizontal plane perpendicular to longitudinal axis of running gear. Mounted separately on frame and its mounting platform are assembly of units of continuous miner with their possible dismantling irrespective of one another. Axle for securing the actuating member may me made of three stages. EFFECT: higher operating reliability and reduced labor input in servicing and repairs of continuous miner. 2 cl, 11 dwg
