FIELD: heat-power engineering; self- contained hot water supply and heating systems for dispersed living and industrial objects. SUBSTANCE: reservoir of contact water heater is divided into liquid and gas cavities; gas cavity is provided with guide baffle plates forming the chamber communicated with gas duct. Burner is mounted at inclination relative to surface of liquid. Gas duct of heat supply system is communicated with customer and waste gas recovery unit is mounted. Water heater burner is provided with water jacket which is communicated with recovery unit. EFFECT: increased time of contact of combustion products with water; enhanced efficiency. 8 cl, 10 dwg
