FIELD: automobile instruments designed to evaluate and indicate speed of movement and distance covered. SUBSTANCE: given speedometer has pulse transmitter, circuit of formation of controlling signals, speed indicator frequency divider with adjustable coefficient, distance counter and indicator. Speed indicator comes in the form of set of immobile pointers arranged radially in circle one near another from left to right with angular interval corresponding to maximum allowable error of discreteness of speed reading and N light sources. Circuit of formation of controlling signals has former of time interval signal, coincidence circuit, counter of number of pulses and decoder of code of counter of number of pulses with number of outputs equal to number of pointers connected in series. Each output of decoder is connected to corresponding light source and each light source is combined with single pointer. EFFECT: widened application field, increased accuracy and reduced mass and dimensions. 3 cl, 3 dwg
