FIELD: manufacture of electric vacuum tubes. SUBSTANCE: procedure of adjustment of electronooptical system is supplemented with movement of color picture tube with reference to longitudinal axis of holder of electronooptical system. Optical marks in the form of two dots, for example, are made on side surface of electronooptical system. Two video cameras made fast to screen of picture tube are put in symmetry on straight line perpendicular to longitudinal axis of envelope of picture tube, they are used to form enlarged images of marks. electronooptical system is set in neck of envelope of picture tube at specified height, maximal matching of images of optical marks is achieved by axial turn of electronooptical system and change of spatial position of envelope. In this case alignment of longitudinal axis of electronooptical system with longitudinal axis of envelope passing through center of screen is secured which raises adjustment accuracy.
