SLOTTED STRIP-LINE ANTENNA ARRAY Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: antenna engineering; radio communications, television, multiposition multichannel distribution systems. SUBSTANCE: antenna array has power splitter built around symmetrical strip line, collinear slot radiators cut in one of strip-line shields, and conducting side walls interconnecting strip-line shields to form rectangular waveguide so that slot radiators occur on wide wall of this waveguide; novelty is that slot radiators are also cur in second shield of symmetrical strip line and strip-line power splitter has output strip conductors closed by means of conducting jumpers to one of strip-line shields without crossing slot radiators; distance between jumpers and slot radiators is sufficient for attenuation of dominant waves in planar waveguide formed by strip-line shields. EFFECT: provision for omnidirectional pattern in azimuth plane with azimuth polarization. 2 dwg
