FIELD: quality control; measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device has frame mounted on wheels with a holder attached to it, cantilever connected to it, fixing member engageable with the cantilever. Following rollers and transducer units engageable with the rail are mounted on the cantilever. The holder is U-shaped clamp. The fixing member is carriage movable across the rail along guiding axle. The axle is fixed in the holder and has spring. The carriage is connected to the guiding axle by means of bearings. Carriage movement stopper is fixed on the holder. Following rollers are mounted on centering mechanism attached to the cantilever adjustable relative to the transducer units. The transducer units are fixed on the centering mechanism by means of leaf springs. The centering mechanism is spring-loaded controllable holder connected to the U-shaped clamp attached to the transducer unit suspension member through the axle. Horizontal plate having axles of height- adjustable following rollers at the ends is mounted on the holder. The transducer unit suspension member is connected to the cantilever through insulating insert. The cantilever is oval ring. Ultrasonic transducers are sealed in transducer units.
