FIELD: fire-fighting system. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has spherical glass membrane located in shaped flange at fire pipeline end, striker located inside casing and heat-sensitive lock. The latter has inserts introduced into rod neck portion and holder of low-melting material. Holder is put onto rod and inserts. Apparatus is held in ready state by membrane, which keeps fire-suppressant in fire pipeline in hermetically sealing relation, and by heat-sensitive lock holder, which holds inserts with readily sliding conical surfaces inserted in rod neck portion from dropping to form system, which fixes in total working spring in compressed state. When temperature in site of location of apparatus increases to value exceeding holder melting point, holder is melted to result in forcing out of inserts by spring from rod neck portion. Under the action of spring, rod is released by round striker having section making 96% of pipeline section to define free openings for discharge of fire-suppressant onto fire zone. Apparatus is adapted to be located at fire pipeline end closest to possible fire zone and is preferably used under conditions dangerous for people. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 dwg
