SUBSTANCE: proposed device has limit switch valve, electropneumatic distributor, electric contact pressure gauge and pneumatic grip for holding drill pipe string at no force in fixed run of drilling unit tackle wire rope. Device has cylinder-piston pair connected with cotter pin of crossmember of limit switch valve and controlled by electric contact pressure gauge through said electropneumatic distributor and second electropneumatic distributor controlled by said electric contact pressure gauge and providing delivery of compressed air into cylinder of pneumatic grip.
