FIELD: sewage purification equipment. SUBSTANCE: flotation machine has housing divided into chambers, and aerators located inside housing at housing bottom. Inlet and outlet branch pipes are positioned outside at front and rear sides of housing, respectively, and caught contaminants discharge trough is arranged at housing side. Sewage liquid level regulating device is located inside terminating chamber in the course of flow of sewage liquid, and thin-layer clarification unit is positioned in penultimate chamber. Clarification unit is composed of strips creating ascending ands descending flows of liquid under clarification process. Flotation machine is further equipped with settling chamber, which is first in the course of liquid flow. Auger device is mounted inside settling chamber perpendicular to the course of sewage liquid flow. Auger device surface is made hydrophobic and is non-homogeneously magnetized, with degree of magnetization increasing from the top to the bottom. Separating device arranged between clarification unit strips is composed of netted layer with 0.5-5.0 mm sized meshes. Auger device pitch is 1/3-1/2 the width of inlet chamber. Strength of magnetic field in first chamber is decreasing from the top to the bottom from 100 Oe to 1,000 Oe. EFFECT: increased extent of purification of sewage water, in particular, of hydrophobic contaminants. 5 cl, 1 dwg
