FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composition of corrosion-resisting steels used for making ingots of equipment articles in chemical, petrochemical, paper and pulp, energetic and oil and gas industry. Invention proposes the corrosion-resisting steel comprising component taken in the following ratio, wt.-%: carbon, 0.01-0.03; manganese, 0.40-1.00; silicon, 0.40-0.80; chromium, 24.0-26.0; nickel, 6.0-9.0; molybdenum, 3.0-4.0; copper, 0.50-1.50; rare-earth metals, 0.01-0.10; aluminum, 0.005-0.05; calcium, 0.001-0.05; niobium, 0.01-0.10; nitrogen, 0.10-0.25; magnesium, 0.005-0.020; iron, the balance and under the following condition: equivalent of pitting corrosion resistance = Cr + 3.3 Mo + 16 N ≥ 37. EFFECT: enhanced corrosion resistance, improved foundry properties. 2 tbl
