FIELD: friction units for braking systems of automobile equipment. SUBSTANCE: proposed unit includes friction member made from polymer friction composite into which particles of polymer friction composite are additionally introduced. Particles are made from polymer friction composite whose composition is similar to that of composite of friction member. Hardness of composite from which particles are made is higher than that from which friction member is made. EFFECT: improved operating characteristics.
