FIELD: heat power industry. SUBSTANCE: heat generator for pulse combustion can specifically be employed for pulse combustion of gas-and-air mixtures to produce gas atmosphere with large content of nitrogen and carbon dioxide and with low content of oxygen and nitrogen oxides showing uniform distribution of temperature over volume and securing direct contact of combustion products with heated medium - water or air. To achieve this technical result heat generator for pulse combustion has tank- accumulator filled with heat-transfer medium ( water ) with water supply and discharge branch pipes and heating facility with bubbler. Combustion chamber of heating facility comes in the form of power pipe-line one end of which is plugged. Air supply branch pipe partially brought into pipe-line for distance l1 is placed along axis of pipe-line. Gas supply branch pipe is positioned perpendicular to axis of pipe-line at specified distance l2 from dummy butt of pipe-line. Ignition torch of uninterrupted action is located perpendicular to axis of pipe-line at distance l3 from mentioned butt that exceeds l2. Open end of pipe-line is connected to bubbler situated in tank-accumulator beneath water level. Discharge gas conduit is placed in upper part of tank-accumulator.
