FIELD: building industry, namely prevention of leakage of protective electric current at erection and exploitation of pipelines. SUBSTANCE: rings are welded to outer surface of branch pipes cut into pipeline. Ring made of insulated material is placed between ends of said branch pipes. Electrically insulating joint is arranged in detachable coupling consisting of segments. In radial gap between coupling and branch pipes reinforced dielectric polymeric material is placed. Said material has high adhesion to coupling and to branch pipes. In annular cavity of coupling there are rings welded to ends of branch pipes. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of joint due to elimination of coupling shift caused by action of axial operational loads. 2 dwg
