FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out Z-shaped elongation of ulnar hand flexor with both components of the contracture being passively removed, the hand set in functional position and wire transfixation being applied. Then, subcutaneous switch is done of superficial flexor of the third finger to the back of the hand with its being attached to the epimetaphysis of the second metacarpal bone. Tendon elongated with transplant is conducted further under the skin and attached to the tendinous part of the ulnar extensor of the hand. The free end of the transplant is brought backward in the reverse direction and fixed to the place of sutured tendon attachment to the second metacarpal bone. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; retained active hand extension, good gripping condition and finger functions. 4 dwg
