FIELD: active suppression of sound fields. SUBSTANCE: active sound suppression technique boils down to radiation of pumping wave in direction of propagation of signal wave being suppressed collinearly or jointly with the latter, amplitude of pumping wave being much higher than that of signal wave while frequency and phase of radiated wave are twice as high as those of wave being suppressed. Ingress of pumping wave in passband of locator receiving channel is made impossible. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of sound suppression; provision for suppressing low-frequency signal by high-frequency pumping. 2 dwg
