FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves supplying air heated in regenerator into burner mixer by injection provided in the process of flowing fuel gas from burner nozzle and supplying additional heated air into burner through newly introduced injection stage positioned in air duct in front of burner; using pressurized air as injection promoter and regulating flow rate of pressurized air by providing burning facilitating air inflow within the range of 0.8-1.05 of amount theoretically required for burning of gas; maintaining gas and air mixture flow speed in burner mixer within the range of 15-50 m/s and in burner tunnel within the range of 3-12 m/s. Method provides uniform and fast heating of metal blanks for forging (stamping) or rolling processes. EFFECT: increased efficiency by uniform heating of metal. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
