FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for heating furnaces with utilization of high-temperature waste gas heat. Method includes recirculating flue gases from the furnace to produce a heat carrier by burning a fuel mixed with an oxidizing agent, wherein, as an oxidizing agent using an oxidizing agent as a mixture of recycled off-gases with pure oxygen and directing the resulting heat transfer agent to the furnace for heating the metal bars, while the mixture with the content of recycled exhaust flue gases with a temperature of 1,000–1,100 °C is used as the oxidizing agent with up to 80 % and pure oxygen up to 20 %, wherein the combustion of the fuel is performed with an under-burn at an oxidant agent consumption rate α=0.4–0.7.
EFFECT: increased energy efficiency of warming heating and thermal furnaces is provided, the possibility of non-oxidizing heating of the metal, reduced fuel consumption, reduction of costs in the division of metal heating before rolling and heat treatment, and improving the ecology of the process.
