FIELD: domestic gas supply equipment; control of flow of working gas, natural gas, for example at gas-stove inlet located in kitchen. SUBSTANCE: blocking gas cock-valve includes swivel cock fitted in gas main, shut-off member, actuating unit, blocking unit, impact-action actuating electric drive electrically connected with threshold amplifier unit to which gas detection signals are furnished and power supply unit; threshold amplifier unit is made in form of selective gas sensor. As soon as excessive level of gas content in room under test has been detected by sensor, signal will be furnished to threshold amplifier unit from sensor; as a result, electromagnetic pulse is formed in excitation winding of actuating impact-action drive. Magnetic field formed in winding creates considerable impact force. Armature moved upward raises projection of double-arm lever which turns around its axis lowering opposite projection. End of L-shaped lever thus disengaged turns around its axis, as a result projection gets out of rectangular cut, thus releasing the disk. Released spring turns disk and swivel tail-piece of handle to CLOSED position and cock closes. EFFECT: possibility of automatic discontinuance of gas supply when threshold level is exceeded. 8 cl, 7 dwg
