FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: stop valve for abrasion fluid has housing with longitudinal through passage for flowing fluid and two axially aligned seats. The sealing member is interposed between the seats. The member is composed of sealing disks and, at least, one through opening for flowing fluid. The central disk is mounted for permitting rotation by a given angle to provide coincidence of the through openings when the valve is open and guaranteed overlapping of the through openings when the valve is closed. The other disks are tightly fixed with respect to the seats. The driving device is connected with a rotatable disk. The housing of the valve is detachable and consists of two flanges and additionally provided with an insert. The seats are interposed between the flanges. The insert is interposed between the flanges to form a sealed space between the inner side of the insert, sealing member, and flange. The rotatable disk of the sealing member is fixed into the additional race. The driving device is made in the rigid housing whose base is secured to the insert. The driving device is provided with flexible tie with driving pulley. The axle of the pulley is mounted in the bushings of the housing of the driving device. The other ends of the tie passes through the through openings provided in the insert and are secured to the race of the rotatable disk.
