FIELD: automatic arms, applicable in designing of small arms and artillery weapon. SUBSTANCE: the automatic arms lock has a breechblock with a striker and a breechblock carrier with a return spring which are movable in the receiver. The breechblock is provided with a breech rod, whose end face forms the breech mirror, and a damping spring with a variable rigidity index engageable with the breech rod and breech at a time. The rigidity index of the damping spring is set by the respective compression of the slack adjuster-pusher screwed on the breech rod. EFFECT: expanded functional capacity of the automatic arms due to the use of ammunition of various type, simplified construction of the weapon. 1 dwg
