FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: automatic rifle consists of barrel, breech frame and carrier block, and hammer. L-like breech frame smaller end accommodates hammer and turning firing link representing cylindrical sleeve with firing stops, link length not exceeding half the length of used round. Ejector is provided with torsion spring fitted on ejector pins to swing in vertical plane. Breeching face and breech frame rear face have two symmetric ledges. Mutual arrangement of slots and ledges allows the latter to enter said slot when hammer turns about its axis through at least 30°. Note that shorter and of breech frame has two ledges with shaped slots mating the former on locking link inner surface.
EFFECT: simplified design, reliable breech locking, shorter gun.
