FIELD: firearm. SUBSTANCE: the weapon muzzle attachment has a hollow housing fitted on the barrel. Located in the front part of the muzzle attachment is a bushing with a central hole for passage of the bullet. The bushing is joined to the barrel muzzle section by a threaded connection, the housing is rigidly fastened between the bushing and the rest made on the barrel closer to its breech, and longitudinal tensile stresses are produced on the barrel section between the rest and the muzzle thread. Provision is made for installation of additional muzzle attachments (muzzle brake, compensator, etc.) on the bushing outer wall. EFFECT: reduced vibration amplitude of the barrel and enhanced close grouping of shots. 2 cl, 2 dwg
