FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to steel compositions used for production of cold-rolled hot-aluminated bands and sheets for making car gas tanks by deep stretching. The proposed steel has components in the following ratio, wt.%: carbon, 0.001-0.02; silicon, 0.001-0.10; manganese, 0.10-0.25; chrome, 0.001-0.06; nickel, 0.001-00.06; copper, 0.001-0.06; titanium, 0.03-0.22; aluminium, 0.01-0.06; nitrogen, 0.001-0.015; sulfur, less 0.025; phosphorus, less 0.020; iron, the balance. Invention provides the decrease of intermetallide layer thickness. EFFECT: enhanced quality of hot-aluminated bands and sheets, enhanced corrosion resistance. 3 tbl
