FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention concerns low-alloyed steels used for manufacturing metal structures (building, bridges, shaft linings, etc.) containing, wt.%: carbon, 0.12-0.18; manganese, 1.0-1.8; silicon, 0.4-0.7; chromium, 0.4-0.8; aluminum, 0.01-0.05; vanadium, 0.04-0.08; nitrogen, 0.009-0.015; copper, 0.1-0.4; nickel, 0.01-0.34; calcium, 0.001-0.05; iron, the balance. EFFECT: increased plasticity and impact elasticity of steel, improved properties in Z-direction (along thickness of sheet), and reduced tendency to crack formation on hot plastic deformation. 2 tbl
