FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: gear is designed to be used in process of drilling and running of wells. Gear includes head and mechanism controlling bridge stopper. Head can be turned on tubing string or on drill pipe string and has body in the form of hollow cylinder, registration unit carrying adapter joined to body by thread. Registration unit is securely fastened in body by screws. Upper part of adapter is provided with thread. Head includes sealing unit comprising matched outer , lower and inner surfaces and sealing ring. Mechanism controlling bridge stopper has hollow cylindrical guide fastened in lower part to body by screws. Hollow cylindrical guide includes Z-shaped groove starting in left lower part. Right and left components of shaped groove are equal and length of horizontal part is established from condition of turn of head through angle of 270 deg or more. Mechanism controlling bridge stopper includes rod telescopically mounted in upper part of bridge stopper. Cylindrical lug secured from turning by washer and nut is put on rod with the help of thread. Upper part of cylindrical lug is hemispherical. Four symmetrical longitudinal grooves with holes are cut in outer surface of cylindrical lug. Outlets of holes are located in annular groove made in inner surface of lug starting from its upper hemispherical surface. Annular groove is hydraulically coupled to inner space of head. Key is made fast to outer surface of lug and can move along shaped groove. EFFECT: raised operational efficiency of gear. 4 dwg
