HYDROPNEUMATIC PULSE DRIVE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: power pulse systems; designed for development of drilling machines, pneumatic picks, hydropercussive members of tunneling and mining machines in ore and coal mining industries. SUBSTANCE: hydropneumatic pulse drive has cylinder, gas cavity and resetting cavity and cavity before valve communicated through external distributor with pressure and return lines. Cavities are formed in cylinder by piston and rod embraced by bushing in which brake cavity is formed and valve distributor with seat and shutoff member are installed for communicating the resetting chamber with return system. Seat is made with conical contact surface. Valve distributor is located in channel made at angle to cylinder axis. Its shutoff member has axial channel receiving check valve and with sealing member enclosed by cavity formed by its rigid part and flexible shell members installed for coming in contact with seat. EFFECT: higher airtightness of valve distributor and reliability of hydropneumatic drive due to use of flexible members (two shell and one sealing) and valve installation in individual channel not coaxial to rod. 2 dwg
