FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutical industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of preparing biologically active preparations from reindeer horns. Ossified horns of reindeer males are ground to particle size 2 mm, not above, extracted with 25-35% ethyl alcohol three times, then with 50% ethyl alcohol twice in the ratio raw to extractant = 1:10 being each extraction is performed for 5 h at the room temperature and constant stirring. Then extracts obtained with 25-35% alcohol are evaporated to an aqueous residue and extracts with 50% alcohol to viscous mass. The combined extract is diluted with pure extractant, settled, filtered and the liquid extract of horn raw 1:1 in 30% alcohol is obtained.
