DUO WORKING STAND OF SHAPE BENDING MILL Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: plastic metal working, particularly equipment for making bent shapes of rolled bars. SUBSTANCE: duo working stand includes housings with chocks for placing roll axles in bearings and screws of screw-down mechanism. Each housing includes two struts with shaped cross section secured to longitudinal plates mutually joined by means of two crosspieces. Left and right pairs of struts are tightened by means of lengthwise traverse bars for screws of screw-down mechanism. Upper and lower chocks are mounted between struts with possibility of cross motion relative to shaping direction by predetermined value due to use of adjustment bolts introduced into opening of each strut. Upper chocks rest upon spherical surfaces of heads of mounting bolts screwed into lower chocks. At stand outlet upper narrow ribs of lower chocks and lower ribs of upper chocks are cut out. Working stand may be used in shape bending mills of light type. EFFECT: simplified manufacture and exploitation of working stands, high quality of bent shapes. 2 cl, 2 dwg, 1 ex
