FIELD: technological processes; tools.

SUBSTANCE: scissors contain bottom immovable knife fixed in bed plate and top movable knife fixed in knife girder. Knife girder is mounted on eccentric journal of drive crankshaft installed in bed plate with the possibility of displacement along shaft axis and is hingedly connected to bed plate with yoke. Mechanism for control of horizontal gap between scissors knives is arranged with wedge guides that are installed in pairs on every side of knife girder with the possibility of vertical displacement. Mechanism for withdrawal of top movable knife in reverse travel of knife girder is arranged in the form of vertical wedge guides with drive of their displacement that are installed between bed plate and mentioned wedge guides on the side of knife girder opposite to top knife, with the possibility of displacement in vertical direction. Pressing mechanism is provided for permanent pressing of knife girder to vertical wedge guides on scissors bed plate on the side of top knife.

EFFECT: sheet edge bending is eliminated in reverse upward travel of knife girder, and service life of top knife is increased.
