FIELD: pipe line fittings; high-pressure cocks; public service mechanical engineering; distribution of water flows in high-pressure water system of canal flushing machines. SUBSTANCE: proposed cock has body with inlet and outlet branch pipes. Axes of outlet holes of body are located radially relative to vertical axis of body. Covers are connected with body. Bush fitted in body has inlet and outlet holes registered with similar holes in body. Bush is also provided with through drain hole located on its generatrix and registered with one outlet hole of body. Swivel cylindrical plug is provided with straight-way hole and back pressure cavities. Handle is provided with retainer. Axis of inlet hole is located radially relative to vertical axis of body and lies in horizontal plane of axes of outlet holes of body. Back pressure cavities are made in form of diametrically opposite mainly rectangular slots of equal area interconnected by means of straightway hole. At inlet, cavity is located horizontally and opposite cavity is located vertically. Length of horizontal cavity is more than or equal to arc of turn of plug between outlet holes of bush located at maximum distance relative to each other. Butts of bush are provided with chamfers. EFFECT: simplified construction, reduced overall dimensions and enhanced operational reliability. 10 dwg
