FIELD: chemical and oil engineering; fuel supply stations. SUBSTANCE: body of joint has central hole in which pipe unions for inlet and outlet of working medium are inserted on either side. Pipe unions are provided with blind passages for flow of working medium which are interconnected by means of bypass passages made in body. Pipe unions are coupled together by means of intermediate insert secured on tail portion of first pipe union and locked on tail portion of second pipe union by means of first locking member. Cavity is formed in area of coupling of pipe unions and on side of this cavity, second locking member is fitted on second pipe union. First and second locking members are rated for definite axial force; first locking member is rated at higher axial force. EFFECT: simplified construction and enhanced reliability. 4 cl, 1 dwg
