FIELD: pressure bottles. SUBSTANCE: pressure bottle made from composite material includes endless wound envelope with metal flanges received by its pole holes; each flange has tail-piece. Bearing surface of tail-piece is curvilinear-concave surface. Its generatrix satisfies the following condition: , where β is angle between axis of flange and tangent line to generatrix of bearing surface of tail-piece at point with radius "r", radians; r is radius of point of generatrix of bearing surface (r0≤r≤b); r0 is radius of pole hole; "b" is radius of top of flange end- piece; Q is angle of turn of flange end-piece, under pressure, radians; ε is relative circular deformation of plastic in pole hole under pressure; βb angle between axis of flange and tangent to bottom at top of tail-piece, radians.
