FIELD: rocket engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to body of solid-propellant rocket engines manufactured of composite materials. Proposed body contains all-wound load-bearing envelope made of composite materials with wound-in metal flanges. Ring reinforcement parts are fitted in zones of body bottoms between main spiral layers. Said ring reinforcement parts are formed by two edge thread laid in spiral which are continuously enclosed by cross reinforcement threads. Edge thread located on larger radius is attached to other layers of bottom.
EFFECT: reduced mass of body of solid-propellant rocket engine, deformations in ring and meridional directions in bottom owing to use of local ring reinforcements made of high-strength threads.
