FIELD: operation of vehicles. SUBSTANCE: according to invention color of glow of object on indicator changes depending on change of parameters characterizing travel of vehicle. Check value of parameter with yellow color of object is set, when value of parameter is larger/smaller than check value by preset value object is colored red/green. Facility in which color of object changes includes control which allows changes with display of values of various parameters to be conducted. Change of color of object from color corresponding to one parameter to color corresponding to another parameter is performed smoothly. Change of color can be automatic. Facility includes green, yellow and red light sources but glow of single source only is recognized. Light sources are crystals with light-emitting p-n junctions. Pulse-duration modulation with time overlapping of glow of crystals is utilized to control brightness. Indicator has refracting surface with focal power above 1. One crystal is placed at considerable distance from equivalent focus. There is also provided crystal of blue glow.
