FIELD: mechanical engineering; aeronautical engineering; construction of flying vehicle landing gear shock-absorbers. SUBSTANCE: shock-absorber has body with cover on which plunger with diaphragm and level indication tube are mounted. Rod provided with hollow needle is mounted inside body forming above-plunger and under-plunger cavities. Level indication tube is provided with member having spherical outer surface and hole in its wall showing level of working fluid in shock-absorber in charging it. Level indicating tube is mounted coaxially relative to hollow needle for sliding in its cavity. Axle box is provided with through slots communicating the above-plunger cavity with cavity in needle. EFFECT: possibility of obtaining required level of fluid in filling the shock-absorber inclined from vertical position; enhanced reliability. 4 dwg
