FIELD: construction engineering, particularly, methods for production of vermiculite building materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes rapid heating of natural materials to temperature of 800-1000 C with subsequent swelling and increase of volume of initial natural material by a factor of 15-20. Prior to heating natural material is disintegrated to grains sizing 0.2-0.3 mm. During heating, material is exposed to horizontal vibration on vibration machine with vibration frequency of 3-5 Hz. EFFECT: production of vermiculite even-grained building material with grains sizing 4-6 mm. 1 dwg
