FIELD: varnish-and-paint industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fabrication of porcelain and faience articles, which are decorated according to screen printing technique followed by glaze coating by aqueous glaze suspension and baking at 1140-1160 C. Paint is composed of glycerol, molasses, drying oil, ceramic cobalt-containing pigment, alumina, clay, chalk, and quartz sand. Ceramic pigment contains coloring mixed oxide CoO+Co2O3 fluxed with PbO+ZnO or faience glaze in amounts between 10 and 50%. EFFECT: facilitated distribution of glaze, reduced washing-off of coating with water and appearance of pigment round the image outline, and considerably reduced content of pigment with preserved pigment color. 2 tbl
