FIELD: methods of sealing of coke oven opening. SUBSTANCE: method includes pressing of contact surface of coke oven door membrane to contact surface of coke oven frame over entire perimeter by means of hold-down members which are actuated by cross-bar locking devices of coke oven through leverage system; preliminary determination of frame curvature radius, and on basis of obtained value and preset gap between frame and door membrane, length of hold-down member is calculated by expression , where R is radius of frame curvature; h is value of preset gap. EFFECT: stable gas tightness of coke oven opening with consideration of frame thermal deformation. 2 dwg, 1 ex
