FIELD: sealing doorways of coke ovens. SUBSTANCE: unit has closed Z-shaped sealing frame mounted for fixing around the door edges. The unit also accommodates stationary brackets and mobile clamping plates mated through their recess with boss formed on the above-mentioned frame. The brackets having tooth and heel are positioned in the door body and fastened to its bottom end part with a supporting collar provided on it. The brackets are mounted on the door body through adjusting bolts so that the above-mentioned heel can move over the supporting collar and approach the supporting frame and its abutting plane arranged in a spaced relation to the bracket tooth.
