FIELD: transport mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: hydromechanical transmission includes hydrodynamic torque converter combined with hydraulic retarder with pump, turbine, reactor and braking wheels arrange din circle of its circulation; disk brake for stopping braking wheel and planetary gearbox; proposed transmission is mounted in housing consisting of three detachable sections. First section is used for mounting hydraulic converter characterized by profile of blades of braking wheel, construction of overrunning clutch and metered torsional rigidity of output shaft. Second section is used for mounting two friction clutches, three disk brakes and two differential mechanisms with kinematic linkage specified in Application. Third section is used for mounting third differential mechanism with output shaft of hydromechanical transmission.
